GPS based Clock display is a LED based real time rugged clock for the display at public places like Railway Stations, Offices, Parks etc. The clock receives the time information from GPS housed inside the clock unit. The clock synchronizes the signals of multiple satellites to derive universal GMT time and convert the same into accurate IST. The clock has self-synchronizes feature with the satellite. The clock comes with 30 minutes power backup redundancy in case of power failure.

FEATURES OF GPS CLOCK
- The GPS receiver is housed inside the clock unit.
- The clock synchronizes the signals of the satellite to derive universal GMT time and converts the same into accurate IST.
- The clock has self-synchronizes feature with the satellite.
- TTFF hot start is less than 8 seconds and less than 40 seconds cold start.
- GPS Clock has adaptive threshold based signal detection for improved reception of week signals
- It gives maximum navigation accuracy for the Standard Positioning Service (SPS)
- GPS clock has a serial out put for DATA
- It has a built in special clock module which converts the GMT to IST.
- The clock synchronizes with the satellite every 6 or 12 hours automatically to keep the link of signals from satellite and synchronize the data.
- Visual indicator is available for indicating the process of synchronizing.
- The clock has a redundant power supply for backup so that in case of main power supply failure also the clock should work for at least 30 minutes.
- The clock supports real time clock chip/BIOS power backup/maintain for chipset data storage.
- The clock has a portable plug and play antenna.
- The antenna has 3 meter of wire to enable it to fix it out door.
- The antenna has a magnetic provision to mount it out door to expose to the open sky.
- The antenna is all weather proof.
- Clock is mounted on weatherproof casing and is free from any earthing current.
- The clock has data filtration module to protect itself from current disturbance that may occur due to heavy OHE lines running in railways.
- The clock is available in single side and double side modules. Single side clock is wall mountable.
- The standards of protocols used are of International Standard and is free of restrictive protocols.
- The GPS module used follows universal protocols and is not objectionable in nature and adheres to NMEA standard.
- The clock has four digits for hour and minutes and uses a matrix of red colour LED’s.
- Flashing LEDs separates the hour and minutes digits.
- LED Matrix for each digit is of size 7'' x 3.5'' with 2 rows of LEDs.
- The clock body is rugged and weather proof
- Incase of link failure with satellite, the display works with inbuilt Real time clock.
